Hidden Lake

Bass nailed a small swimbait for the only fish of the day on Memorial Day. Waters were high and murky, caught this one casting across the creek entrance to the pond.

Caught one small shad when we stopped at Lake Eureka on the way home from Peoria.

Sunday at Grove Lake

A bunch of bullheads, a carp or two and a bluegill. Quiet morning by the lake. The carp liked the corn!
Brought the whole Roberts crew later in the day and caught one bluegill after another. Aryanna was very excited about fishing.

Evening fishing

Went fishing tonight for a few hours after work. The bass I saw were very small. the hit spinners a ton but were too small, one was landed which was probably 6" at the most

Hidden Lake

Just a quick early evening trip to Hidden Lake.  Three blue gill on worms and a little large mouth bass on a jig.  We used worms straight from our backyard, nightcrawlers and red worms. Worked like a charm!

Easter Day Fishing

We stopped in the evening at Heidecke Lake. I got nothing but Melissa got a few fish on a small jig. First time on 'practice bait' as she calls them.
